April 2014 Suomi-koulu

The students learned about Finnish summer traditions and customs such as Juhannus and lavatanssit. The “littles” group continued learning letters, letter sounds and long and short vowels while the bigger children worked on spelling and vocabulary. We also continued tanhu practice and are in good form for our Juhannus party on June 22nd! See more about the party in the calendar.
