Suomi-koulu students learned about Finnish Easter traditions. They made “virvonta” twigs — willow twigs decorated with colourful feathers, learned rhymes, and planted their Easter grass. Here’s the rhyme, so you can try it on this Easter: ”Virvon varvon tuoreeks terveeks tulevaks vuodeks. Vitsa sulle, palkka mulle.
