Pikkujoulu 2014

Joulupukki gave the nice PSK children gifts and wise words to accompany them in the coming new year.

Finns in Philadelphia had a great time celebrating Christmas and Aimo Tuomi’s 85th birthday at the newly renovated American Swedish Historical Museum. The festivities began with a church service held by Pastor Tiina Talvitie for New York Finnish Church. Following the service we enjoyed some delicious traditional Finnish foods, sang along to music and met Santa Claus. Several raffle winners received some fantastic prizes including a set of 85 gold dollar coins donated by Aimo Tuomi’s family. It was a great way to start the Holiday – Thank you all for coming!

Philadelphian suomalaiset pikkujoulut vietettiin Ruotsalaisella Museolla Joulukuun 20 päivä. Juhlimme myös Aimo Tuomen 85 syntymäpäivää… onnea Aimo! Pastori Tiina Talvitie piti joulu kirkkoa ja Marja Kaisla säesti sekä kirkossa, että juhlissa. Nautimme myös perinteistä ruokaa: peruna, lanttu ja porkkana laatikoita, kinkkua, joulutorttuja jne. Joulupukki ilostutti tapahtumaa antamalla lahjoja lapsille. Kiitos kaikille osallistujille – nähdään ensi vuonna uudestaan!
