Vellamo Band Workshop and Suomi-koulu
On January 13th, 2013, Suomi-koulu hosted play-and-sing-along concert in Finnish with the band Vellamo. This interactive educational workshop taught our children some treasured traditional Finnish folk songs. Learn more about Vellamo here.
Pikkujoulu 2012
Members of FASDV met at the American Swedish Museum December 16th, 2012. Joulupukki made an appearance and all had a great time. The presenters and performers included Jukka Kervinen, Marja Kaisla, Philadelphia Suomi-koulu, Sofia King among others.
